The lessor must also maintain specific insurance coverage and provide certificates of insurance within ten days of contract award. The lease may be renewed for three additional one-year periods by mutual agreement. Payment is made in advance at the beginning of each month. September payments will be made during the middle of the month due to Texas Comptroller processes. The state reserves the right to award the contract based on low line item bid, low total of line items, or any other combination that will serve the best interest of the state and to reject any and all bid items in the sole discretion of the state. Numerous other terms and conditions are included in the notice, including dispute resolution, taxes, public disclosure, confidentiality, applicable laws and standards, insurance, and more.
