Request for Proposal (RFP) for the purchase and installation of a replacement electronic sign at Chelsea High School. Proposals are due by Monday, June 22, 2026, at 2:00 PM. The scope includes a full-color LED display, content management software, installation, and training. Vendors must evaluate existing infrastructure and include removal of the old sign. A mandatory vendor meeting and walkthrough is scheduled for Wednesday, June 10th, 2026, at 1 PM. Award will be made to the most responsible vendor. Manufacturer warranty coverage on all equipment is expected to be a minimum of one year, including parts, labor, and technical support. Extended warranty options and service agreements should be detailed.
Award shall be made to the most responsible vendor whose proposal is determined to be the most advantageous to the district, considering proposal price, company experience, thoroughness, clarity, reputation, and prior performance.
The district will determine if vendors possess basic qualifications, considering proposal price, company experience, thoroughness, clarity, reputation, and prior performance.
In the event the vendor fails to correct a default to the satisfaction of the district, the district shall have all rights accorded by law, including the right to immediately terminate the agreement. The vendor shall pay all expenses of legal action, including attorney fees and costs, if the district prevails.

Failure to comply with all provisions, conditions, specifications and instructions of this RFP may result in disqualification of your proposal. The district reserves the right to disqualify any supplier who cannot or does not comply with these deadlines.
