Goose Creek CISD is seeking proposals for catering services for district-sponsored meetings and events. This is an extended-response bid that will open and close periodically. Vendors who have previously been awarded do not need to reapply. Online submission is preferred. Sealed hard copy responses must be received by October 2, 2026, 4:00 PM CT. Evaluation criteria include purchase price (40 pts), vendor reputation (20 pts), quality (20 pts), meeting district needs (15 pts), and past relationship (5 pts). The contract term is one year with four optional annual renewals. Purchases will be made on an as-needed basis.

Vendors must provide reliable data and references for investigation if their competency is questioned. A valid food establishment permit or health permit is required. If the vendors are unknown to the school district or their competency questioned, it shall be understood that they will, upon request, file with the school district, reliable data and references for investigation as deemed necessary to determine the ability of the vendor to provide the contents of this solicitation.
In case of default by the vendor, the district may cancel the contract and repurchase from another source, recovering excess costs. In case of default by the vendor, the district may, by written notice, cancel this contract and repurchase from another source, and may recover the excess costs by: 1 deduction from an unpaid balance due, 2 collection against the contract andor performance bond, or 3 a combination of the aforementioned remedies or other remedies as provided by law.
Failure to include required documents such as the invitation to submit proposal, proposal form, acknowledgement of certifications, conflict of interest questionnaire, and taxpayer identification W9 may be just cause for disqualification.
