Pomona Unified School District is seeking proposals for energy conservation consulting services at Garey High School. Proposals are due August 21, 2026. An optional pre-proposal meeting will be held via Zoom on August 7, 2026. Questions must be submitted by August 12, 2026. Interviews, if needed, are scheduled for August 27, 2026. The award will be based on the highest score according to evaluation criteria, considering factors like experience, qualifications, and price.
Proposals must be submitted no later than 10:00 a. m. PST on Friday, August 21, 2026.
Proposer warrants that all products, services, and workmanship shall be free from defects and be suitable for the use stated in the proposal documents. The district shall give proposer written notice after discovery of any defective product, inadequate service, or workmanship. Proposer shall correct any such deficiencies in service, defective product, and provide replacement, or reimbursement, at its sole expense.
The award of contract, if made by the district, will be by the highest score based on the evaluation criteria.
In selecting a proposer, consideration will be given not only to the financial standing but also to the general competency of the proposer for the performance of the contract. The district may consider the proposers experience and facilities, conduct and performance under other contracts, financial condition, reputation in the industry, and other factors.
Failure to abide with the conditions set forth in the drug-free workplace act could result in penalties including termination of the agreement or suspension of payment thereunder.
There will be an optional pre-proposal meeting via Zoom on Friday, August 7, 2026 at 1:30 p. m.
Proposers who are selected to move forward in the evaluation process should be prepared to undergo the interview process. Failure by proposer to provide sufficient references with its proposal submission may result in rejection of proposal by district as nonresponsive.
