Capital Region BOCES is seeking sealed bids for shuttle transportation services for adult education students enrolled in NYSERDA offshore wind training programs. Services are required from September 2026 to June 2027, generally four days a week. Bids are due August 5, 2026, at 2:00 PM. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. Pricing is a set price per day for transportation needs, with an option for an additional vehicle and driver. The BOCES reserves the right to cancel routes without penalty if enrollments drop or programs are canceled.
Bids must be received no later than 2:00 p. m. local time on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. The contract term is September 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027.
Payment terms extended to the BOCES shall be no less than 30 days from the date of invoice. The BOCES will make payment only after receipt and acceptance of services.
Award will be made to the responsible bidder offering the lowest overall price and meeting bid specifications.
Bidders must have successfully provided shuttle transportation services for a minimum of one year prior to bid submittal and must be able to comply with the transportation schedule.
The BOCES reserves the right to impose a financial penalty for late arrivals of 15 minutes or more, in an amount proportional to the amount of students lost program time.
Disqualification may occur due to evidence of collusion, failure to satisfy submittal requirements, lack of responsibility, default on other contracts, illegible or vague bids, or other causes deemed appropriate by the board.
