The Housing Authority of the Cherokee Nation (HACN) is seeking qualified contractors to provide home inspections and repairs in the Cherry Tree community. The deadline for submission of proposals is Tuesday, June 2, 2025, by 5:00 PM. Preference will be given to contractors certified by the Cherokee Nation Tribal Employment Rights Office (TERO). The successful bidder must meet specific insurance and bonding requirements. Evaluation factors include TERO certification, prior work history, staff qualifications, subcontractor qualifications, payment and performance bonds, and references. The contract period will not exceed three years. Additional documents, such as a W9 form and vendor registration form, are required. Presolicitation announcement for fencing project on the Manti La Sal National Forest. The solicitation is anticipated to be posted to SAM. gov on or around May 19, 2025, but is now expected to be published on or around June 4, 2025. The response date will be 30 days after the solicitation is posted. The project involves removing and replacing various types of fences at multiple locations. Heavy equipment limitations may apply. All offerors will be required to provide a bid bond with their proposal submission. Performance and payment bonds will be required of the successful awardee. Funds are not presently available for this effort, and no award will be made until funds are available. The government reserves the right to cancel the solicitation.

The Quitman County Board of Education is seeking bids for underbrush clearing, forestry mulching, and dead tree removal on district property. Vendors must inspect the work area at 215 Kaigler Road, Georgetown, GA 39854. Each bid must include company name, contact person, phone number, email, lump sum price, proof of liability insurance, current business license, proof of bonding, and documentation showing compliance with local requirements. Bids must be received by 3:00 PM on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, in a sealed envelope clearly marked Bid for Underbrush Clearing, Forestry Mulching, and Dead Tree Removal. Bids will be opened publicly on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at 3:15 PM, in the Quitman County Board of Education district boardroom. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible qualified bidder, subject to board approval. Work must begin within 30 calendar days of award.

The project involves restoring forested areas, improving vegetation resilience, reducing wildfire risk, and minimizing roads on the Deschutes National Forest. A bid bond or other acceptable bid guarantee valued at 20% of the construction total price offered (mandatory items 2a-2l) is required and must be submitted with the initial offer. Payment and performance bonds valued at 100% of the total construction price are required from the contract awardee. The contract period is from the date of award through November 30, 2032. Staggered deadlines apply to the mandatory and optional work. Item 1, cut and removal of included material, shall be completed by November 30, 2030. Items 2a - 2l, road reconstruction, shall be completed by November 30, 2026. Items 3 - 7 shall be completed by November 30, 2028. Service contract act and construction (Davis Bacon) wage determinations apply and have been provided as attachments to the solicitation.
