detector shall be designed to replace a single Model 222 loop
detector amplifier in the input file of a Type **** ATC Model 332 or 336
traffic signal
controller cabinets. It shall have 24
detector zones per camera configuration. Each zone shall have the ability to be set up for entry, exit, delayed, and extend detection. Detection zones shall have the ability to be ANDed and ORed together to provide phase inputs. Video
detector shall have the ability expand outputs to a two channel input/output expansion module through either a DB9 male or RJ- 45 interconnection. Processor and expansion module shall operate at 24 VDC nominal. It shall have a DB9, USB, or RJ- 45 connector that will be used for
software upgrades and/or remote operation. It shall have a least four outputs and the ability to reassign for the use of expansion boards. There shall not be connections that are beyond the connections of the BNC and power cabling for ease of installation. Video
detector environmental requirements: Temperature: - 34 to + 74 Degrees C
Humidity: 0% to 95% non- condensing The processor shall be programmed through a mouse or keypad for setup and calibration of detection zones on a video monitor. The setup shall not be though a laptop interface. The vendor shall provide a cable to do any updates to the processor board. All updates shall be sent to the Division of
Traffic Operation as soon as the update is posted on the video detection system website from the vendor. The vendor will provide support for installing the update on any or all current processors.
