The Texas Military Department (TMD) is seeking bids for the interior remodel of existing space on the first floor of building 75 and the addition of chainlink fencing within the existing mov adjacent to the building at Camp Mabry. The deadline for submitting written questions for clarification is **** mandatory site visit is required on 12042025. The initial contract term is effective on the effective date stated in the notice of award or purchase order. The TMD will issue a notice to proceed within 90 days of the contract award. The respondent must provide the performance period in calendar days. The respondent must submit a copy of at least one rating from organizations such as Dun & Bradstreet DB Business Information Report or Fitch Ratings. The contract incorporates by reference the Texas Facilities Commission's Uniform General Conditions (UGC) in its current version and as may be subsequently amended. Bonds will be required from the contractor before commencing any work. TMD reserves the right to withhold 5% retainage from final payment until all work is accepted by TMD and warranty or equipment operation and maintenance documents are in hand.
The TMD will issue a otice to proceed within 90 days of the contract award, stating the dates for beginning work and achieving substantial completion of the work.
TMD will pay contractor on the basis of itemized invoices submitted to and approved by TMD. Texas government code chapter **** the prompt payment act will govern payment and accrual of interest on any overdue payments.
In determining the best value, TMD shall consider the following best value factors: price, compliance with specifications, delivery timeframe, indicators of probable performance, and other relevant factors.
Respondent must provide evidence of its financial resources and its ability to provide the commodities or perform the services. Failure to submit copies of the required financial ratings will result in disqualification.
If contractor fails to comply with the terms of the contract, TMD may withhold contractors payment. If noncompliance results in TMD purchasing goods or services from another entity to remedy the noncompliance, TMD will deduct those costs from contractors payment.
A mandatory site visit will be held at **** west 35th street, bldg. 75 parking lot, austin, tx **** at 10: 00 a. m. and 1: 00 p. m. on **** to attend one of the two site visits will result in disqualification of the response.
The last day to submit written questions for clarification to TMD is **** at 4 pm CST.
