The contractor shall provide a contract manager and alternates authorized to make all decisions. The contractor shall provide a contract manager or alternate physically on Whiteman AFB MO to always serve as a government point of contact. The government will inspect each delivery order for acceptance of work. Payment will not be authorized except for progress payments covering the cost of the carpet material, and the remainder after the delivery order has been completed that also includes any punch list items identified during the final inspection. The contractor is required to notify the COR and the contract administrator a minimum of five workdays ahead of when work is projected to be complete to schedule a final inspection and acceptance of work. The period of performance is one base year of 12 months and four 12-month option years for a total period of five years. The contractor shall comply with all applicable Whiteman AFB or facility access along with local security policies and procedures. All contractor and subcontractor personnel must consent to Missouri uniform law enforcement system (MULES) background checks. All vehicles used in the performance of this contract shall be in an operable condition and meet the federal, state, and local safety and licensing requirements. The base communications authority must approve the use of two-way radios. The contractor's employees shall become familiar with and obey the regulations of the installation including fire, traffic, safety, and security regulations. All communications with DOD organizations are subject to COMSEC review. The contractor shall ensure wide and frequent dissemination of the above information to all employees dealing with DOD information. Any radioactive material or class 3B lasers must be coordinated with the installation radiation safety officer, 509th Bioenvironmental Engineering, prior to bringing the equipment on base. The government will inspect each delivery order for acceptance of work in accordance with the requirements set forth in this contract.
