City of Union City is seeking qualified contractors for street sign updates, including replacement of street signs and miscellaneous signage. Bids are due August 7, 2026, by 12:00 PM via BidNet. All bidders must submit a qualifications section including general management ability, financial stability and strength, and applicable construction experience. Bidders will be evaluated on demonstrated overall management and experience, credit references, and financial resources.
Should the contractor fail to substantially complete the work under this contract per the specified schedule, he shall pay the city liquidated damages of **** per calendar day for each consecutive calendar day until project is complete.
Questions must be submitted via BidNet by 12:00 p. m. on Friday, July 24, 2026.
Bids may be disqualified for arriving after the set time for submittal, or for being submitted without the required bonds or insurance. Failure to meet any mandatory requirement will cause rejection of the bid.
