Project involves relocating an existing generator and constructing concrete pavement and curb. Bids are to be submitted online via BidNet Direct by August 27th, 2026, 10:00 AM. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for August 13th, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Princeton City Hall. Prequalification is not required, but a qualification statement will be needed from the successful bidder. A bid bond of 5% is required. Questions must be submitted by August 20th, 2026, 5:00 PM. The owner reserves the right to accept the bid providing the most value or reject any bid.
Responses shall be submitted online only using an online portal: www. ***. *. * until 10:00 AM. , on August 27th, 2026.
Owner shall make progress payments on the basis of contractor's applications for payment on or about the 25th day of each month during performance of the work, in an amount equal to 90 percent of the value of the work completed with the balance being retainage.
The owner reserves the right to accept the bid which, in its judgment provides the most value to the owner to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities or informalities in any bid received, deemed to be in the best interest of the owner.
Prequalification of bidders is not required with the bid. The successful bidder will be required to fill out the included qualification statement of the bidders form.
Contractor shall pay owner $500 for each day that expires after the time as duly adjusted pursuant to the contract specified above for substantial completion, until the work is substantially complete.
A nonmandatory prebid meeting will be held at 10:00 a. m. on August 13th, 2026, at the Princeton City Hall building at **** East Princeton Drive, Princeton, TX ****.
The last day for bidder questions will be August 20th, at 5:00 PM.
A bidder's failure to submit required qualification information within the times indicated may disqualify bidder from receiving an award of the contract.
