Stump Cutting Government Bids & RFPs

Bids must be received via Bid Locker by June 11, 2026, at 2:00 PM local time.

For maintenance or service contracts, the contractor must submit an invoice to the accounts payable office at the end of each month for work completed. Invoices must be emailed to ***@***. *. * and include the purchase order number and vendor's FEIN.

The university will recommend for award a responsive bid from the responsible bidder/offeror submitting the most favorable evaluated bid price for the requirements herein.

Contractors must have been in business for at least five years, provide three references for comparable projects, hold a Maryland Tree Expert License, be a current member of the International Society of Arboriculture, and have at least one ISA certified arborist and one pruning supervisor on payroll.

A pre-bid conference may be held, and offerors are encouraged to attend. The vendor acknowledges that they have investigated and satisfied themselves as to the conditions affecting the work by submitting a bid.

The procurement officer shall render a written decision on all claims. The contractor may mail or otherwise file a written appeal with the Maryland State Board of Contract Appeals within thirty (30) days of receipt of the decision.

Attempts by a bidder/offeror to contact the requester, evaluator, or otherwise circumvent the established procedure may be grounds for disqualification. Failure to submit any required document may result in the bid being deemed non-responsive and rejected.

The deadline for quote submission is June 1, 2026, at 5:00 pm.

Contractor must be licensed, insured must meet escambia contractor insurance requirements and experienced with removal of large trees and portion of trees.

A mandatory on site, presolicitation meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 9:00 am.
