The City of Redding is seeking bids for tree line inspection services. The contract requires a minimum of two certified arborists/foresters to inspect overhead power lines using GIS field maps and the TRAQ method. Inspections will cover approximately 746 miles of power lines, prioritizing high fire threat areas. The contractor must document all inspections, adhere to CPUC General Order 95 clearance requirements, and supply all necessary labor, transportation, and equipment. The contract term is from award through July 23, 2027, with two phases: an annual system inspection (Phase 1) due by December 31, 2026, and a midyear reinspection cycle (Phase 2) between May 17, 2027, and July 23, 2027. Liquidated damages will apply for delays in completing these phases. A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for August 11, 2026. Bids are due by 3:00 p. m. PT on August 25, 2026. Award will be based on the lowest responsive annual evaluated total cost.
