This is a statement of work for the procurement of handheld biometric readers, including hardware, software, and maintenance services for the US Coast Guard. The contract has a one-year base period with four one-year option periods. Delivery of 125 readers is required by the end of the base period. The contractor must provide qualified personnel, including a project manager (senior level) and an on-call point of contact. The contractor must also provide training materials, operator's manuals, and quick reference guides. The handheld readers must meet specific technical specifications, including weight, battery life, operational time, and certifications. The readers must be able to operate independently and support various credential types. The contractor must provide 24/7 technical support and respond within two hours of a request. The project involves upgrading the physical access control system (PACS) at a VA healthcare system campus. The contractor will provide all necessary labor, materials, tools, and equipment for the installation of new card access hardware, software, card readers, and door card hardware. Demolition, alterations, and utility relocations will be required. The project is anticipated to take 400 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The anticipated cost range is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. Contractors are required to complete VA privacy training prior to working on site. Contract working hours are 8 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. Some off-hours/night work is anticipated. Interested parties are invited to bid on the procurement of surveillance and access control hardware for the Navajo Nation Department for Child Care Development (DCCD). The bid includes specific hardware requirements (e. g. , Ubiquiti products), and vendors must demonstrate partnerships with OEMs and provide three-year support. Proposals are due by 4:00 PM MST on July 28, 2025. The Navajo Nation will utilize a standard contract and evaluate proposals based on content, methodology, qualifications, and cost breakdown. The DCCD is required to comply with federal and tribal laws and regulations, including affirmative steps to assure minority firms, women businesses, and labor surplus area firms are used when possible. The successful respondent must provide a current certificate of liability insurance.
