The City of Princeton is seeking design-build teams for the renovation and modernization of the Lois Nelson public library. The total project cost not to exceed $1,000,**** must be submitted online by September 17, 2026. The award will be based on the best value, considering project design approach (up to 25 points), project team (up to 25 points), relevant design-build facility renovation experience (up to 20 points), and project metrics/schedule feasibility (up to 20 points). A two-year warranty against defective work is required.
Responses must be received no later than 5:00 pm central time, September 17, 2026.
In accordance with the Texas prompt payment act, the city shall have not less than 30 days to pay for goods or services.
There is a two 2 years warranty against defective work if any of the work. . . is found to be defective work within two 2 years after the city's approval of final payment.
The city reserves the right to accept the bid proposal which, in its sole judgment, represents the best value to the city based on 1 the following selection criteria and the weighted value for those criteria and 2 its ranking evaluation.
The proposal must include a copy of aia standard form b305 architects qualification statement form or equivalent and indicate ability to perform provide licensed work in texas.
If the designbuilder fails to achieve substantial completion or final completion within the contract times. . . the designbuilder shall pay the owner liquidated damages in the amount stated in the agreement for each calendar day of unexcused delay.
Attendance to the presubmittal conference is not mandatory.
