Demolition Landfill Government Bids & RFPs

Proposals must be received by 2:00 p. m. local time on Wednesday, October 28, 2026. Any proposal received after the time and date specified will not be considered.

Vendor shall provide a minimum one-year warranty, software updates, telephone support, remote support, onsite support if required, and security patches.

Proposals will be evaluated based on landfill operations functional capabilities (15%), hardware integration and payment processing (25%), implementation and data migration (10%), training support and vendor qualifications (5%), pricing proposal (35%), and technical proposal (10%).

The county will not consider any proposals that do not meet the minimum qualifications defined in the specifications. Vendor must provide years in business, number of landfill installations, municipal references, New York installations if applicable, and technical support staffing.

In the event of a default and cancellation of the contract, the bidder shall be responsible for payment to Broome County of a sum equal to the additional contract costs to the county.

Any inquiries or requests for clarification regarding this RFP must be received by 12:00 p. m. local time Monday October 12, 2026.

Proposals received that do not include the required documents signed and returned may be deemed nonresponsive and removed from consideration to award. Proposer shall not contact any other county officials other than those referenced in this RFP; any proposer that violates this provision may be disqualified.

Bids must be received by 10:30 a. m. on October 14, 2026, as stated: bids must be in the hands of the planning community development department on or before 10: 30 a. m. on october 14, 2026.

The city will accept the lowest or best bid as stated in the notice.

Contractors must be licensed, bonded and insured as a contractor of the city of joplin, missouri and comply with all municipal codes and state regulatory requirements.
