Failure to enter into a contract within 60 days of award results in forfeiture of the bid security. Penalties may also apply for discrimination. should the successful bidder fail to execute and deliver the lease, as defined in section 7, within sixty 60 days after bid award, the bidder forfeits to the township, as liquidated damages, the bid security deposited with its bid.
