This is a public tender from the City of O'Fallon, Missouri, for the replacement of exterior duct work for the dectron pool unit at the Renaud Center. The contractor must provide a minimum one-year warranty on workmanship. Liquidated damages of **** per consecutive calendar day will be assessed for failure to commence or complete the project on time. The contractor must be enrolled in a federal work authorization program and provide documentation. The bid responses must be received and time stamped no later than the public bid opening date and time specified. The contract requires the contractor to begin work within ten 10 days after receiving written notice to start work from the owner and to complete the work by 06/30/2026.
The goal of the city is to pay properly submitted contractor invoices within thirty 30 days of receipt, providing goods have been delivered, approved, and accepted by an authorized city representative. Five percent 5% of partial payments shall be retained until all work is completed.
The contractor shall provide a minimum one 1 year warranty on workmanship from the date of project completion.
This bid will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder meeting specifications based upon the total lump sum bid amount.
