Sealed bids are due by 2 PM on August 19, 2026, for a brush chipper. Bids must be submitted to the Bureau of Purchase and Supplies. Emailed or faxed bids are not permitted. Delivery is FOB destination and requested ASAP after award. Delivery time may be a factor in award determination. Bids must be signed and submitted in a sealed envelope with the bid number and due date clearly marked. Late bids will not be considered. Failure to complete the bid in its entirety may result in disqualification. County terms of payment are 2 10 net 30. Bidders may offer alternate terms, but these will not be used in award determination. The county reserves the right to reject any bids. Bids must be for new equipment unless otherwise stated. Specifications are descriptive and not restrictive; equivalent products will be considered if clearly identified and approved by the county. No fuel surcharges will be paid. Samples, if required, must be delivered prior to bid opening free of charge. Awards may be made by individual item or lot. The county reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The purchasing agent may investigate bidder qualifications and facilities. The county may extend the use of bid pricing for up to 12 months. EFT payments are standard. Purchases are not subject to federal, state, and local taxes. Third-party billing is not acceptable unless approved. Prices shall be net, F. O. B. destination. Failure to deliver items meeting specifications or within the specified delivery time may result in cancellation and vendor being declared irresponsible. All items delivered must be guaranteed against faulty materials and workmanship. Deliveries are considered platform delivery unless otherwise indicated. Purchases by other school districts and governments are allowed if mutually agreeable. Bidders must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and executive orders, including those related to lead-free merchandise and public work projects requiring prevailing wages.

Failure to deliver items or equipment that do not meet county specifications or are not received within the specified delivery time may be cause for cancellation of the order and vendor declared irresponsible. Any additional costs incurred by the county may be charged to the original vendor.
When required, samples must be delivered prior to the bid opening and free of charge. Samples will be returned at bidder's expense.
Vendors protesting or disputing bid specifications must do so in writing during the bid opening period prior to the due date to be considered. Such protests must be in the possession of the Bureau of Purchase and Supplies three working days prior to the bids opening.
Failure to complete this bid in its entirety may result in disqualification. Copies obtained from any other source are not considered official documents and will be considered incomplete if missing addenda, if any, resulting in disqualification.
