The deadline for submission of proposals is June 5, 2026, 3:00 p. m. , Central Time. Late proposals may not be considered.

The contractor shall possess a valid business license and all required permits to operate a catering business in the District of Columbia, and demonstrate experience in providing catering services to large groups, preferably including military personnel. The contractor shall maintain adequate liability insurance coverage and provide a list of references upon request.

No site visits or industry days are planned.

The following criteria and point system shall be used by the selection team to determine the firm or individuals most qualified and best suited to perform the work: cover letter (0 points), firm qualifications and experience (25 points), compliance with requirements of this RFP (40 points), price (25 points), and references (10 points). Total 100 points.

Proposals must include a breakdown of individual costs for the complete project, a proposed project schedule, a list of similar projects completed, proof of licensing, bonding, and insurance.
