Proposals must be received by the department of facility services staff no later than 3: 00pm on thursday december 1st, 2025. A mandatory site visit will be held on november 13th, 2025, at 10: 00 am. Award will be given to the lowest responsive bid. Protests must be filed in writing within five 5 working days from the time of the occurrence generating the protest.
The contract term is from the date of approval of the board of supervisors and ends on june 30, 2026.
The county shall make a single payment for all work performed by contractor following i completion of the work by contractor, ii satisfaction of paragraph 6 of this exhibit b, and iii invoice by contractor to the county. If paragraph 6 of this exhibit b has been satisfied, then the county shall pay the contract amount, as adjusted pursuant to section 15 of this agreement, to contractor within fifteen 15 days of countys receipt of contractors invoice.
Contractor warrants to the county that: 1 materials and equipment furnished under this agreement will be new and of good quality unless otherwise required or permitted under this agreement 2 the work will be free from defects not inherent in the quality required or permitted and 3 the work will conform to the requirements of this agreement. Contractor shall, for a period of one year after substantial completion of the work, correct work not conforming to the requirements of this agreement.
Award will be given to the lowest responsive bid.
Building professionals shall have all necessary licenses from the appropriate licensing agencies, and such licenses shall be current and in good standing. The contractor shall provide copies of those licenses to the plumas county facilies and airports upon request. The contractor and all professionals providing services under this contract must be covered by general commercial liability and professional malpracce liability insurance policies with minimum coverage limits of no less than 1, 000, 000.
Facility services airports will have a meeting and walkthrough starting at the story field clubhouse located at hwy 70 and spanish creek rd quincy, ca **** on november 13th, 2025, at 10: 00 am with contractors. This meeting is mandatory.
