From this location, a new 8- in water main will be constructed and routed along the northern right of way of Fort Boonesborough Rd for approximately 4, 701 LF where it will cross Fort Boonesborough Rd at the entrance to Fort Boonesborough. Jack and boring will be utilized to cross the road to avoid open cutting the roadway. The line will then transition from a public water line owned by Madison County Utilities to a private water line at a new vault that will be installed at the property line near the Fort Boonesborough entrance. From the vault, an 8- in water main will connect back into the existing park 8- in water main that will back feed the rest of the park property. The old connection from Winchester Utilities will be cut and capped on both sides of the KY river and abandoned.
