Denver Public Schools is seeking proposals for a strategic partner to provide an innovative virtual alternative education model. The successful supplier shall submit periodic invoices for completed services to the district's accounts payable department. Invoices shall not exceed thirty calendar days from the date of service and must reference the appropriate purchase order number and a detailed explanation of work performed.
Offers will be evaluated based on the best evaluative score from written responses and, if necessary, oral presentations. The evaluation committee will score responses in two phases, with the first phase based on written documentation and the second phase involving presentations from a limited number of top-scoring suppliers.
Partners must demonstrate capacity to provide a turnkey asynchronous operational model, experience serving overage/undercredited students and dropout recovery populations, expertise in accelerated asynchronous instructional models, and experience integrating CTE, workforce development, and industry credential pathways into virtual learning.
If a supplier defaults on its contract or the contract is terminated for cause due to performance, the district may charge the supplier the difference between the supplier's price and the price paid to the next lowest supplier, plus any costs associated with resolicitation.
Suppliers may appeal by submitting a detailed request for reconsideration to the District's Director of Purchasing within 72 hours after the recommendation of award is posted on BidNet.
Unauthorized contact with Denver Public Schools personnel related to this solicitation, other than the purchasing director, may result in disqualification. Falsifying certifications required in conjunction with the code of conduct section will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
