This is a combined synopsis solicitation for commercial products related to firetruck upfitting. The proposal due date has been extended to August 14, 2026. Payment shall be made for items accepted by the government that have been delivered to the delivery destinations set forth in this contract. The government will make payment in accordance with the prompt payment act 31 **** and prompt payment regulations at 5 CFR part ****.
All emergency lighting components must have a minimum 5-year factory warranty. The contractor warrants and implies that the items delivered under this contract are merchantable and fit for use for the particular purpose described in this contract.
The government will award a contract to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The evaluation factors are price, technical acceptability, and past performance.
Offerors shall provide a statement describing company capabilities demonstrating an understanding of the solicitation, technical proficiency, and experience relevant to vehicle upfitting. Past performance information for three jobs completed with similar size, scope, and complexity within the past three years is also required.
The contractor shall be liable for default unless nonperformance is caused by an occurrence beyond the reasonable control of the contractor and without its fault or negligence.
Offers received without deliverables contained in section E. 2, FAR ****, will be considered unacceptable. Most vendors did not provide past performance or a capabilities statement, which will be considered an incomplete proposal and unacceptable.
