Sealed bids are requested for the purchase of two 1-ton single-wheel 4x4 pickup trucks with specified equipment. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked 2025 truck bid to the Town Manager's Office by 2:00 PM on Friday, October 10, 2025. Bidders must include required descriptive material, agree to honor bid prices for 60 days, and the Town reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. Bid evaluation will consider cost, features, performance, warranty, service and parts availability, and best value to the town. The vehicles must be new, latest design, and in current production. Bidders must supply specifications, literature, and warranty information. The trucks must be completely inspected, registered, and serviced by the vendor prior to delivery. The contractor must list prior experience and may be required to provide references demonstrating successful completion of similar work, demonstrate consistent high-quality workmanship, and own or have access to the required equipment. The scope of work includes supervision, personnel, layout, labor, materials, tools, appurtenances, equipment, traffic control, erosion control, staging, disposal sites, services, mobilization/demobilization, sweeping, insurances, and services required to perform the work. Workers compensation and general liability insurance requirements are detailed. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to negotiate with any qualified source, or to cancel the RFP. All bids become the property of the Town.
