Sealed bids are solicited for a supplemental HVAC manpower term contract to be completed by the supplier. Bids must be submitted electronically to lsu procurement services by 06/10/2025 11:00 AM CT. The supplier must be a licensed commercial contractor in the state of Louisiana with the classification of mechanical work. All required licenses must be active at the time of bid submission. Each HVAC master mechanic and controls technician must possess a refrigerant license. The supplier will provide a hvac master mechanic, mechanical helpers, fume hood technicians and controls technicians who are qualified to work on all phases of hvac maintenance. The university will make daily work assignments, inspect work, coordinate work with other university personnel, and check time slips of hours worked. The supplier shall have at least one master mechanic and fume hood technician available for lsu work at all times. Manpower requirements will be scheduled no later than 72 hours after request. Invoices shall reference the lsu purchase order number, suppliers packing list/delivery ticket number, shipping/delivery date, etc. Invoices are to be itemized and billed in accordance with the order, and submitted on the suppliers own invoice form. The supplier shall be responsible for insuring the safety of all occupants and users of the building from injury or damage resulting from any contact with the work, workmen, or equipment. Contaminated water and solvents used for equipment cleanup will not be allowed and cannot be disposed of in any campus drainage system. The supplier shall examine the areas and conditions under which the work is to be completed and notify facility services in writing of conditions detrimental to the proper and timely completion of the work. Do not proceed with the work until unsatisfactory conditions have been corrected in a manner acceptable to the manufacturers recommendations. Starting of the work will be construed as the suppliers acceptance of the surfaces and conditions within any particular area.

The equipment must be delivered to room 227 RNR building, School of Renewable Natural Resources, LSU, Baton Rouge, LA **** within 210 days of purchase order issuance. The supplier must install the equipment, provide training for at least 4 LSU AgCenter staff members for a minimum of two 8-hour days, and provide a 12-month warranty. The Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College (LSU) is soliciting bids for a term contract for the disposal of infectious waste materials.
