Contractors must be licensed in Kansas and Missouri, have at least 5 years of successful commercial concrete project experience, provide two recent job references, be located within a 30-mile radius of KUMC campus, and have the ability to work with inhouse and/or oncall engineers and architects. The contractor shall have at minimum 5 years experience doing successful commercial concrete projects.

A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held in person at 11:00 am Central time on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at the main entrance to the Murphy building on the University of Kansas Medical Center main campus. The University of Kansas Medical Center will incur no expenses other than the flat hourly rates stated herein.

A contractor must be a licensed electrical contractor in the state of Kansas and remain in good standing. Contractor must employ a Kansas-licensed master electrician. Contractors with only residential construction experience do not meet the qualifications.
