For each calendar day that the work remains incomplete after the expiration of the contract time, the sum of $1,500 shall be deducted from any monies due the contractor. If no money is due the contractor, the department shall have the right to recover said sum from the contractor, the surety or both.

The contractor is highly encouraged to visit the site prior to bidding on the project.

The project cost estimate is under $100,000.
