This is a formal bid for County Road Signs for Taney County, Missouri. The bid covers products and services related to road signs, with no installation or construction included. Purchases will be made on an as-needed basis. Vendors must commit to stocking standard signs and ensuring timely delivery. The document specifies a umber of days for delivery from date of order which needs to be filled in by the bidder. It also states that he county commission reserves the right to cancel all or any part of an order if delivery is not made or work is not started or completed as guaranteed.
The bid notice states, Standard payment terms are net 30 after receipt of an invoice. The county cannot, and will not, agree to any other payment terms.
The county's sole purpose in the evaluation process is to determine from among the responses received which one is best suited to meet the county's needs at the lowest possible cost.
An authorized signature and email address are mandatory; lack thereof may result in a determination of nonresponsive and disqualification from participation. Bidders must also initial all pages of the solicitation document.
When, or if, an awarded vendor delays delivery beyond a reasonable timeframe, the county may use alternate vendors, and if those costs are higher than the bid awarded amount, the county may hold the awarded vendor financially responsible for the difference caused by using alternate vendors.
The county reserves the right to conduct personal interviews or require presentations, inspections, of or from any/all bidders prior to selection. The county will not be liable for any costs incurred by the bidder in connection with such interviews, presentations, or inspections.
