Crane Rental Government Bids & RFPs

The bid notice states that the lift will require one 70 ton crane with operator for one day on July 24th, 2026.

The contractor shall provide all equipment, necessary materials, certified crane operator and rigger to lift the structure.

The delivery date for the man lift rental is on or before August 30, 2026.

Payment will be made by the government. The contract incorporates FAR ****, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer System for Award Management, and FAR ****, Providing Accelerated Payments to Small Business Subcontractors.

The government will award a contract to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The evaluation factors are technical, past performance, and price.

Offerors shall submit at least three project examples from the past 2 years demonstrating experience operating a man lift of similar size and configuration. Technical information such as capacity and reach for the proposed man lift is also required.

A site visit is scheduled for Friday, May 15, 2026, at 10:00 am local time. Contractors must RSVP at least 24 hours in advance by contacting David Beck at the Garrison Project Office at ****.

All questions pertaining to this solicitation shall be submitted not later than seven (7) calendar days prior to the proposal due date.

The bid notice states that the contractor shall deliver the equipment, operators, and rigging crew on May 6, 2026, and the crane must be ready to lift by **** on May 7, 2026. Mobilization out is scheduled for May 13, 2026.

The contractor shall ensure contractor employees and subcontractor employees performing services under this contract have passed a security check conducted by the state police department of their U. S. residence. The government retains the right to exclude any employee from performance of duties under this contract if a background security check reveals an employee is a security risk.

The contractor's failure to comply with the requirements of this paragraph may result in requiring the contractor to remove a contractor employee or employees from the performance of the contract.

The successful bidder shall deliver all components to Albeni Falls Dam on a weekday, with the date to be determined by the government after contract award, no earlier than April 7th, 2026, and no later than May 18th, 2026. The rental period is 5 calendar days, starting on the delivery date, and the contractor will pick up all components 5 days after delivery.

The bid notice states that payment will be made by the government and specifies that invoices should be submitted to the address shown in block 18a unless otherwise indicated. It also references the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) system for electronic invoicing and payment requests.

The contractor warrants that the equipment will be in good working order and free from defects at the time of delivery. The contractor must thoroughly inspect and validate the entire system before delivery.
