The National Park Service Outer Banks Group is seeking a contractor to provide solid waste dumpster services for its three locations: Fort Raleigh National Historic Site, Cape Hatteras National Seashore, and Wright Brothers National Memorial. The contract will include one base year and four option years. The contractor will be responsible for providing and servicing up to 45 dumpsters, including specialized dumpsters for day-use areas with slide door access. The contractor must also maintain backup containers, provide documentation of equipment compliance, and ensure all dumpsters are properly marked and locked. Service frequency will vary based on the season, with twice-weekly service during peak season (Memorial Day to Labor Day) and once-weekly service otherwise. The contractor must comply with all safety and environmental regulations, including OSHA and EPA laws. The government will conduct random inspections, and final payment is contingent upon satisfactory correction of any performance deficiencies. Questions are due by April 13, 2026, and responses are due by April 30, 2026.
