Security Door Government Bids & RFPs

Bids are due Friday, June 12, 2026, at 2:00 PM prevailing time.

Payment will be made within 30 to 60 days of receipt of a proper invoice.

The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.

Bidders must submit a complete, truthful, and accurate vendor background questionnaire. The city will conduct investigations to determine bidder responsibility.

Noncompliance with bid submission requirements may result in disqualification. Failure to submit a complete and accurate vendor background questionnaire may result in disqualification.

Proposals are due no later than June 16, 2026, by 10:00 am, EST. The work must be fully completed no later than 150 days from the notice to proceed.

Payment will be made in one lump sum within thirty (30) consecutive days after acceptance of the work and submission of notarized contractor's affidavit and four copies of invoices.

The contractor shall unconditionally guarantee materials and workmanship against defects for a period of twelve (12) months following final acceptance of the work.

Carteret County Government reserves the right to award to multiple contractors deemed fully qualified and best suited among others submitting proposals on the basis of the evaluation factors included within this RFP.

Qualified contractors are sought for the project. Contractors must submit examples of historical and/or similar work completed with their proposal and provide a detailed cost breakdown.

For each day in excess of the completion date, the contractor shall pay the owner one hundred dollars (****) as liquidated damages.

Interested contractors shall contact the County POC to schedule a site visit. The contractor shall examine contract documents, drawings, and specifications and has visited the site.

The county may request samples or examples to confirm matching characteristics.

Failure to comply with any requirement may cause the proposal to be considered irregular and may be grounds for rejection. Failure to provide required bonds may be grounds for forfeiture of bid security.

Sealed proposals must be received by 1:00 PM EST on June 25, 2026.

The vendor will be paid net thirty (30) calendar days after the vendor's invoice is approved by Durham Public Schools.

Awards will be made to the vendors meeting the RFP requirements and achieving the highest and best final evaluation, representing the best value to Durham Public Schools.

Vendors must demonstrate experience with public and/or private sector clients of similar or greater size and complexity, and provide information on the qualifications and experience of assigned personnel.

The vendor shall be subject to amounts due as liquidated damages, but not as a penalty, for each failure to meet performance standards.

Vendors may be disqualified for having communications that could influence the evaluation of proposals or award of the contract, or for having an eProcurement Services account in arrears by 91 days or more.
