Proposals are due by 5:00 PM Central Time on August 5, 2026, for Facility Condition Assessment and Insurance Valuation Services. A walkthrough will be held on July 31, 2026. Proposals will be acknowledged on August 6, 2026. The Brownsville Public Utilities Board (BPUB) is seeking qualified firms to evaluate the physical condition of facilities, update replacement cost values for insurance and risk management, and provide data for capital planning. The awarded vendor must agree to receive payments via ACH direct deposit. Monthly statements will be submitted by the consultant to Brownsville PUB, and payment will be made within 30 days of receipt of a statement.
Proposals will be evaluated based on experience and qualifications (25 points), proposed methodology and work plan (25 points), proposed cost (25 points), quality of deliverables (15 points), and schedule (10 points).
Firms shall be fully staffed with full-time, in-house, experienced personnel in facility assessment and insurance valuation services, with at least five years of experience specifically in the public utilities sector.
A walkthrough will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026, at 8:30 am, starting at **** Robinhood Drive Administration Building. This is a mandatory site visit.
