This is a presolicitation notice for construction services to replace main EMD generators and cooling towers at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center in Bronx, NY. This notice is for a firm fixed-price contract for crane operations for the overhaul of the Z drive propulsion systems for the CGC Joshua Appleby. The work will be performed on May 8th and 9th, 2025, between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM. The crane must be able to withstand a 35,000 lbs hold at a 75ft minimum radius. The contractor must provide a crane, operator, and rigger/signalperson certified to ANSI, ASME, and OSHA standards. Valid operator and rigger cards are required. The Coast Guard will supply rigging equipment. The contractor must call Justin Stallones to obtain base entry. All contractors and riggers must have a valid US driver's license. Proposals are due by 3 PM on May 2nd, 2025. The contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).
