repairs in White Oak Bayou. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for September 30, 2025, at 9:00 AM CDT via Microsoft Teams. Questions are due October 3, 2025, at 12:00 PM CDT. The bid closing date is October 13, 2025, at 2:00 PM CDT. Several documents are required for submission, including bid acknowledgement, bid bond and bid check authorization form, bid guaranty and performance, drawings, flood
control district minimum insurance requirements, Harris County contractors safety record policy and questionnaire, Harris County general requirements for bids, heat protection safety requirement, MWBE goal participation information packet, MWBE trucking procedure compliance packet, MWBE utilization plan commitment form, project manual, prevailing wage rates, worker classification definitions and payroll submittal instructions, specifications, tax residence certification, and workers compensation insurance requirements. The bid requires the completion of several questionnaires and forms, including estimated contract value, bid bond, cashier's check, acceptance of general requirements for bids, tax residence certification, proof of insurance, Harris County contractors safety record policy and questionnaire, MWBE utilization plan commitment form, signed letter of intent for each MWBE firm, and item 34, vendor bid fixed 200,000do. A bid table (Excel) and questionnaire (Excel) are also required.
