Proposals for conveyance systems maintenance, installation, and repair services are due by 2:00 pm on October 14, 2026. Proposals may be submitted electronically through euna openbids or by mail/courier. The city reserves the right to select the most qualified provider, not necessarily the lowest price. All prices must include all labor, material, and transportation costs. The service provider warrants that all work will be performed with professional skill and care.
After the city has determined such payment, the service provider shall bill the city for services rendered in accordance with the contract documents within ten 10 calendar days following the end of the month and the city shall pay the service provider within thirty 30 days after receipt of the service providers invoice.
Service provider warrants that all work shall be performed with the degree of professional skill, care, diligence, and sound practices and judgment that are normally exercised by recognized professional firms with respect to services of a similar nature.
The city reserves the right to select the most qualified service provider and not necessarily the service provider with the lowest price.
To qualify as responsive and responsible, a prospective service provider must meet the following standards as they relate to a request: o have adequate financial resources for performance or have the ability to obtain such resources as required during performance o have the necessary experience, organization, technical and professional qualifications, skills and facilities o be able to comply with the proposed or required time of completion or performance schedule o have a demonstrated satisfactory record of performance and o adhere to the specifications of the proposal and provide all documentation required of the proposal
If any work is unable to be guaranteed, the contractor must inform the city, in writing, prior to the delivery of an item or any work being performed. nonguaranteed work must be offered at a discount rate from the proposal prices.
When samples are required, they must be submitted free of cost and will be returned unless otherwise specified.
Protests regarding the request for proposals shall be filed as soon as the basis for protest is known to the service provider, but in no event later than fifteen 15 calendar days before the proposal due date
In the event service provider or any of its officers, partners, principals, or employees acting with its authority is convicted of a crime involving a public official arising out or in connection with the procurement of work to be done or payments to be made under this contract, the city of concord may terminate the contract at will or for cause.
Protests regarding the notice of award must be received by the city within seven 7 calendar days after the city's issuance of the notice of award.
