Project involves recoating of tanks and pump stations in Oak Hills, California. Bids are due July 16th, 2026. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for June 30th, 2026. Contractors must be licensed and registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond of at least 10% of the total bid price. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. The work is subject to California prevailing wage requirements. The contract duration is 180 calendar days after the notice to proceed.

Progress payments will be made no more than once every thirty 30 calendar days, not exceeding ninety-five percent 95 of the total contract at the time of completion. Final payment will be processed sixty 60 days after the notice of completion. Bidders must be licensed contractors in California with Class A and/or C33 license. They must also be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. each bidder shall be a licensed contractor pursuant to the business and professions code and shall be ab2 licensed in the following classification of contractors license
If the work is not completed within 180 calendar days, the contractor shall forfeit $2,500 per calendar day as liquidated damages. contractor shall forfeit to the district a specified sum of money, to be deducted from any payments due to the contractor. The sum of money shall be 2, 500 per calendar day

Bid protests must be submitted in writing by 4:00 PM on the fifth business day following the bid opening. The bid protest is submitted to and received by the department of public works special districts. . . before 4:00p. m. of the fifth business day following the bid opening.
Failure to register with the ePRO system, submitting late or incomplete bids, not attending the mandatory pre-bid meeting, or not listing at least three similar projects completed in the last five years can lead to disqualification. All bidders must register with the epro system prior to the date and time to receive sealed bids or they will be disqualified.
