The Village of Brewster invites sealed bids for the collection and removal of residential refuse, bulk, and recyclable materials for a period from January 1, 2027, to December 31, 2029, with optional one-year extensions. Bids must be received by October 21, 2026, at 10:00 AM. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder. Bidders must submit a certified check or bid bond of five percent of the total bid. Services include at least two times per week refuse collection and one time per week recyclable material collection. The contractor must comply with various local, county, and state codes.
Contractor shall submit monthly bills to the village and payment will be made within a reasonable time after an opportunity to audit same each monthly bill shall equal one thirty six of the total cost of the contract exclusive of extras as may be provided for herein, or as may be mutually agreed upon between the village and the contractor.
