The City of San Bruno seeks proposals for landscape maintenance services for city-owned medians, rights-of-way, and designated lots. The initial contract term is from January 1, 2027, to December 31, 2027, with potential extensions. Proposals must be submitted by Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at 4:00 pm PDT via email. Required services include weed control, shrub/tree care, pest control, and litter removal. Contractors must hold a valid California C27 landscaping contractor license and maintain required pest control licenses. The selection will be based on responsiveness, technical merit, and ability to provide the required scope of services.
Contractors shall submit progress billings on a monthly basis, if applicable. Contractors bill shall include the following information for the project:
Proposals will be evaluated and scored on the following weighted criteria: experience and qualifications, proposed approach and methodology, cost proposal, staff qualifications and availability, equipment and resources, environmental and sustainability practices, schedule and responsiveness, safety record and practices, client references and past performance.
