The contractor shall provide all equipment, labor, transportation, and resources necessary to load and haul the material. The contractor shall coordinate the scheduling of loading and hauling services with designated Kentucky Horse Park staff prior to performing the work. The contractor shall contact KHP staff to coordinate the date and approximate time for each scheduled hauling service and shall make reasonable efforts to accommodate KHP' s operational and event schedules. Each load shall be weighed at an approved certified scale. The contractor shall provide KHP with a certified weigh ticket for each load verifying the gross weight, tare weight, and net weight of the material hauled. The certified net weight shown on the weigh ticket shall be used to calculate payment. The contractor shall submit copies of all weigh tickets with the corresponding monthly invoice. Invoices shall identify the date of service, number of loads, net weight of each load, total tons hauled, and applicable per- ton rate. The contractor shall be responsible for all costs associated with loading, transportation, weighing, and disposal of the material.
