Laboratory Testing Competitive Contract Laboratory testing services for the Borough of South River Water Sewer Utility, including various water quality parameters, sludge testing, bioassays, and compliance sampling. Specific tests include total coliform, PFAS, ethylene dibromide, 1, 2- dibromo- 3- chloropropane, 1, 2, 3- trichloropropane, HAA5, THM, sodium, chloride, iron, manganese, VOCs, nitrate, lead and copper, IOCs, secondary contaminants, and radiological testing. Reports are required for NJPDES permits, sludge SQAR, influent/effluent tests, and water quality compliance.

The laboratory and/or its subcontract laboratory must be licensed by the State of New Jersey and must be certified to perform all tests that the laboratory bids on. Said certification shall be current at the time of the competitive contract and be maintained for the full term of the contract.
If, because of error or delay by the laboratory, the Borough is fined by the NJDEP or the USEPA, the laboratory shall be liable for the full cost of such fine and all other costs incurred by the Borough due to said error or delay.
Sampling is to be performed by the lab. The laboratory shall include the cost of blank testing in the unit prices and supply the Borough with current DMRQA study results.
Any bid document received after the deadline established by the Department of Purchasing will not be accepted. Failure to submit required documentation may be cause for rejection of the bid.
