Lot 1: KRS **** requires the Kentucky Department of Education to establish a superintendent training program and assessment center and that the Kentucky Board of Education adopt administrative regulations to govern the training content, number of hours, assessments, and work products for successful completion of the training and assessment center process. Each person hired for the first time to serve as a superintendent in a Kentucky public school district shall successfully complete the superintendent training and assessment program within two ( 2) years from the date the person began his or her role as superintendent.

Lot 1: The KY Department of Education ( KDE) is seeking a qualified individual or company to conduct Pupil Transportation Management Reviews in districts requesting such services or as assigned by the Commissioner of Education or Associate Commissioner, Office of Finance and Operations. The Kentucky Board of Education is required by KRS **** and **** to establish a program for management improvement consultant services for school districts that demonstrate such a critical lack of efficiency or effectiveness in governance or administration that state mandated corrective action or state control of the district is required.

Lot 1: 20 USC ****, 34 CFR ****, KRS ****, and 707 KAR 1: 340 require the KDE to implement an impartial due process hearing system. The purpose of the system is to resolve disagreements between entities responsible for implementing the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act ( Education Entity) and parents of children with disabilities pursuant to the due process hearing requirements under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act ( IDEA). The intent is to award multiple contracts. All contract awards will not have a guarantee of work for any vendor awarded from the RFP.

Lot 1: The Kentucky Department of Education ( KDE) is required by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act ( IDEA) to implement an impartial mediation system. The purpose of the system is to resolve disputes between local education agencies and parents of students with disabilities through the use of a qualified and impartial IDEA mediator who is trained in effective mediation techniques. The intent of this RFP is to award multiple contracts. There is no minimum amount of work guaranteed under any contract awarded.
