The Navajo Nation Department of Child Care and Development (DCCD) is seeking proposals for fire inspection services at various child care centers. Vendors must be licensed and meet specific requirements, including compliance with Navajo Nation Occupational Safety and Health Administration (NNOHSA) and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards. Proposals are due by July 23, 2025, at 5:00 PM MDT. The contract will likely be for three years with an option for a negotiable contract or purchase order. The vendor must provide a written workplan schedule and all services shall be completed Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 11 AM and/or 2 PM to 5 PM. All licensed vendor employees who come onto DCCD property must sign in at the front entrance and communicate with DCCD employees on what type of service is being provided. The vendor must be licensed, bonded, and have current general liability insurance. The prospective recipient shall sign a Navajo Nation debarment and suspension waiver form, and submit a listing of all licenses, certifications, awards, and degrees with the proposal. Billing and payment shall conform to all Navajo Nation procurement procedures. An original invoice is needed for payment, and the invoice must contain identical information as shown on the purchase order or contract.
