Bidders must be licensed California Class B general building contractors and list at least three similar projects completed in the last five years. each bidder shall be a licensed contractor pursuant to the business and professions code and shall be licensed in the following classification of contractors license, for the work bid upon, and must maintain the license throughout the duration of the contract: california class b general building contractor. in order to be deemed responsive, the bidder must list, in the bid forms, at least three 3 projects of similar size and scope that it has completed over the last five years.

If the work is not completed within the 310 calendar days, the contractor shall forfeit $2,000 per calendar day as liquidated damages. in case all the work called for under the contract is not finished or completed within the number of calendar days as set forth in the bid proposal, the contractor shall forfeit to the district a specified sum of money, to be deducted from any payments due to the contractor. the sum of money shall be 2, 000 per calendar day more than the contract time as liquidated damages per section 8. 5 of the general conditions.
