The Village of Addison is seeking bids for the cleaning, root cutting, and reconstruction of approximately 3,460 lineal feet of 12 sanitary sewer using the cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) method. Sealed bids are due by 10:15 AM on July 20, 2026, and will be publicly opened. A mandatory site visit is required. This is an Illinois prevailing wage project. Bidders must ensure bids satisfy all requirements identified in the bid documents. Bid documents are available on BidNet Direct. The Village reserves the right to waive technicalities and reject any or all bids.
Sealed bids must be received at the information desk of Addison Village Hall, 1 Friendship Plaza, Addison, Illinois, prior to 10:15 a. m. on Monday, July 20, 2026.
Payments will be made monthly, based on work performed, with a 10% retention until 50% completion, and 5% thereafter, held until final completion and punch list items are addressed.
All materials, workmanship, services, and purchased commodities will be guaranteed against defects for at least one year or for a longer period if specified in the contract documents.
The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, considering factors such as bidder's ability to provide experienced labor, character, integrity, reputation, judgment, experience, serviceability, financial resources, and the quality of the work or material proposed.
Bidders must demonstrate experience in similar projects, possess adequate labor and materials, and have a good reputation. New manufacturers or installers may be required to install a test section under supervision.

If bidders find discrepancies or ambiguities in the bid documents, they must notify the Village of Addison of those errors or inconsistencies before the due date.
Failure to submit required certifications, errors or omissions in bid forms, or not meeting bid requirements could result in rejection of the bid.
