The City of Arroyo Grande is seeking proposals for a replacement file server cluster and storage network. The solution must include design, implementation, migration, and support for a hyperconverged or equivalent architecture that supports VMware VM migration and data migration from existing SAN devices. Key requirements include high availability, automatic failover to a secondary site (EOC), and managed support services for a three-year contract term. Proposals are due by June 19, 2026. An optional pre-proposal meeting is scheduled for June 1, 2026.
Proposals must be received by Friday, June 19, 2026, at 12:00 p. m. PST.
Consultant shall submit monthly invoices for work completed. City shall pay approved charges within 30 days of receiving the invoice.
Proposals will be evaluated based on demonstrated understanding of requirements, cost competitiveness, experience, technical qualifications, ability to deliver a secure solution, and strength of managed support services.
Proposals must include company qualifications, experience implementing hyperconverged infrastructure or VMware cluster deployments, and experience working with municipal/public sector clients.
An optional pre-proposal meeting will be conducted via Zoom on Monday, June 1, 2026, at 1:30 p. m. PST.
Post-conference inquiries must be submitted no later than June 4, 2026, 4:30 p. m. PST.
Late proposals will not be accepted. Failure to provide and maintain required insurance shall be grounds for termination.
