Upon written mutual agreement, this contract may be extended two additional times for one-year increments. The proposer must submit firm fixed pricing. The proposer must certify that they have not been convicted of certain crimes within the five years prior to submitting the proposal. The proposer must disclose whether it provides services or pays commissions to any employee or elected official of St. John the Baptist Parish. The scope of work is detailed in exhibit A. The pricing schedule is detailed in exhibit B. Evaluation criteria are detailed in exhibit C. The contractor must have experience in waterworks and drainage pumps and motors repairs for a minimum of five years. The contractor's onsite mechanic must have a minimum of five years experience in the warranty repair, installation and/or startup of centrifugal, self-priming centrifugal and multistage vertical turbine cold water pumps. The contractor must have available mechanics 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including holidays. The contractor must have an available machine shop 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including holidays. The contractor must stock and maintain a sufficient inventory of recommended factory replacement parts and components for all pumps and controls. The contractor must guarantee a six-month warranty on all repaired or rebuilt equipment and a minimum of a one-year warranty on new equipment. Priority must be given to work under this bid to make certain that equipment downtime does not interrupt the supply of drinking water to the public. Work assignments will be issued by the plant/drainage supervisor. Special precautions shall be taken to prevent the contamination of drinking water facilities. The contractor must supply all necessary tools, testing devices, shop facilities, equipment, parts, materials, and labor to implement a thorough completion of the work in a timely, cost-efficient manner. The contractor must be familiar with the special precautions required to work in and around water treatment facilities. The parish will not be responsible for travel time to a job site in excess of one hour.

The project involves renovations to a portion of an existing library building to create new offices for the St. John the Baptist Parish Fire Department. Modifications to existing fire suppression, electrical, and HVAC systems are also part of the scope. The project address is 170 W. 10th Street Reserve, Louisiana 70084. The contractor is responsible for various tasks, including safety precautions, site cleanliness, waste disposal, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. The contractor must coordinate with utility companies, obtain necessary permits, and provide a detailed construction schedule. The owner and architect will have access to the site during construction. The contractor is responsible for all warranties and guarantees, and the commencement date for warranties will be the date of substantial completion. The architect/engineer will not be involved in the final fire marshal inspection. The contractor must submit a detailed construction schedule 10 days after the notice of award and revised schedules monthly thereafter. The contractor is responsible for any damage to adjacent property. Work hours are generally 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, but off-hour work may be permitted with written permission. Smoking, drugs, alcohol, and firearms are prohibited on the project site. Workmen must be appropriately dressed. The contractor must maintain a clean and sanitary condition of the exterior of the building and the project site.

The St. John the Baptist Parish Purchasing Procurement Department is seeking qualified firms to prepare a master plan for the Manchac Greenway. Evaluation criteria include key personnel qualifications, relevant experience, understanding of project familiarity, agency project experience, and current workload. The contract will be effective for two years beginning July 21, 2025, and may be extended for one additional year upon mutual agreement.
