Sealed bids are being accepted online via PennBid for the Salem Township Veterans Memorial. Bidding documents are available online starting August 5th, 2025. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for August 8th, 2025. Questions must be submitted by August 15th, 2025. Bids are due August 21st, 2025. A bid bond and performance/payment bonds are required. Prevailing wage rates apply. The successful bidder will be notified within 60 days.

Bids are due on August 14, 2025, at 1:00 PM CT. Bids can be submitted electronically or via sealed envelope. Delivery must be within 60 days of the purchase order. Bid specifications are detailed in the attached documents. All bids must be quoted FOB University or Oxford, Mississippi. The University reserves the right to reject all bids received. Bidders must be registered with the University of Mississippi to be eligible for award. Original request for bid documents must be included. Bids for commodities must include signed company documents with exact description and cost. All items/services must be listed, even if there is no charge. The purchase will be governed by the University of Mississippi terms and conditions. Paper and electronic submissions should only include one copy. University employees may not purchase items directly or indirectly. Bidders are responsible for site conditions. Bids will be opened publicly. Modifications by telegraph or facsimile of bids already submitted will be considered if received prior to the hour set for opening. If the University is closed, bids will be opened on the next business day. Bid prices must be typed or written in ink, and alterations must be initialed. All bids must be signed in ink. No bid will be evaluated for any requirement or criteria that are not disclosed in the invitation for bids. All or none bids will not be considered unless the specifications specifically allow for this provision. Bidders present at the time fixed for the opening of the bids, their contents will be made public. The contract will be awarded to the lowest and best responsible bidder. Each bidder shall be prepared, if so requested, to present evidence of his experience, qualifications, and financial ability. The University reserves the right to award by individual items, related items, or total, whichever it deems in its best interest. The issuance of a purchase order or a signed acceptance of a proposal constitutes acceptance on the part of the University. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids when such rejection is in the interest of the owner. If any person contemplating submitting a bid is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the specifications, he may submit a written request for an interpretation to the director of procurement services. The owner will not be responsible for any other explanations or interpretations of the proposed documents. Bidders must deliver as requested. University terms are 2/10, net 45 days. Payment will be made within 30 days from the receipt of products in satisfactory condition, and receipt of the invoice. The University of Mississippi is prohibited by law from making advance payments to any vendor other than state and federal agencies. The University reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.

This is a request for quotation (RFQ) for a forklift. The solicitation is a total small business set-aside. Offers must be submitted in the PIEe solicitation module and be valid for 90 days. The offer must be for new equipment only. The delivery must be FOB destination. The preferred delivery time is within 30 days.
