Special emphasis material level I, scope of certification, or quality assured, and special control procedures are invoked to ensure receipt of correct material. Applicable documents, including modifications or exclusions, are listed. Specification revisions are detailed. Detailed requirements for parts, material, testing, certification, pressure tolerance, thread inspection, surface waviness, seat stack height measurement, visual inspection, welding, brazing, configuration control, waivers, deviations, engineering change proposals, certificate of compliance, mercury-free requirements, marking of material, quality assurance, packaging, and preservation are included. Certification data must be submitted to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for review and acceptance prior to each shipment of material. Certification documentation must be submitted via wawf (wide area workflow). No material is to be shipped prior to the receipt of acceptance.
