The bid is for the removal and replacement of a hangar roof. Bids must be submitted by January 28, 2026, at 2:30 PM CST. A state of Tennessee commercial license is required. Pre-bid inspections must be scheduled by calling Doug Hunter at 615 **** or 615 3239293. The contractor is responsible for hauling all material and obtaining necessary permits. The city of Portland will waive all levied permit fees.

The contractor must provide shingle color sample to homeowner prior to material delivery. The contractor shall warrant the roof to be completely leak free for one year. All work shall meet or exceed the requirements of the ICC residential code and the standard building code. The work will begin within calendar days of receiving a notice to proceed and will complete the work within calendar days of beginning work.

Bids must be received no later than December 16, 2025. The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, services, equipment, and appliances required for the delivery and the supplying of products and/or services as described herein and in the contract documents. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible respondent. The respondent shall abide by and comply with the true intent of the scope of services and not take advantage of any unintentional error or omission.
